Thanks again to the good people at Mattel and EMCE we have another early look at the Mattel Retro Action DC Super Heroes line, this time it's 8" Superman head sculpt again in the rather fitting "Mugshot" style.

Fantastic Update courtesy of Jens Knappman today who was kind enough to scan this rare German leaflet for the Lion Rock Gestern Wars series but also translated the whole thing for us as well. It's a really neat look at foreign marketing many of us haven't seen before:
A fun update today at the Mego Museum Super Softie Gallery, today we take a look at Spider-Man with new pictures including (finally!) shots of the 19" Spider-Man figure boxed.
All that plus you can click to hear Spider-Man talk, click the link to hear cuddly Peter Parker..
Neat addition to the Lionrock World War 2 Gallery today, it's the 1976 Mego Johnny Action Catalog featuring the military that Mego marketed around the world under many different names.
A neat new addition to the Mego Museum Super Pirates Gallery.
Captain Patch was recycled by an anonymous toy distributor in the mid seventies to get rid of excess Matchbox "Fighting Furies" outfits. The figure was often just shoved into an existing outfit (as seen above). The head is a reverse of the Mego head (Meaning his eye patch is on the other eye), his outfit consists of Jean LaFite's clothes and his body is the exact same as Captain Eagle, who was marketed with spare Action Jackson outfits.
