Have a Very Mego Christmas!

We here at the Mego Museum want to wish everyone a very merry Christmas, a happy Hanukkah, a yowling good Yule, a kwazy Kwanza... well, you get the idea.

Happy Holidays!

Brian, Joe, and Mod

Iron Man!

We've tweaked and updated the Mego Iron Man page today, including pics of perhaps the most expensive production figure ever made (wonder Woman excluded) the Carded Mego Iron Man.

Recently fetching $10,000 in an online auction, this is the closest I'll ever come to it. I caught myself licking the screen.

Mego Prototype Hulk Card

Today's update is something truly cool and one of a kind. I am pleased to offer the 1979 Mego Prototype Magno Heroes Card, no doubt made as a mock up to get buyers into the line. It's a cool piece to see and I'm really pleased with this submission: (follow the link in the diecast section) http://www.megomuseum.com/pocket/diecast.shtml

How do Mego's celebrate Christmas?

Many Super Updates

Been pretty hectic here this month what with the holidays approaching but we've managed to squeeze in a few awesome updates this week.

The Mego 12" Wonder Woman Gallery because who didn't have a thing for Linda Carter?

The Joker Mobile, yeah, the Joker had a VW bus just like my Grade 10 photography teacher:

The Wayne Foundation Playset, wouldn't you know it, Bruce Wayne owns his own four story manor and he turns it into a Superhero Headquarters. If I owned a four story manor, it'd have at least one wet bar.....

$10,000 for a carded Mego Iron Man? Yep, it happend. Read all about it and other interesting (OK it's a bunch of guys talking about dolls , I admit it!) stuff at the Museum Forums:

Micronauts Invade the Mego Museum!

That's right, the Museum finally has a Micronauts section, it took a year for me to figure out what to do (not because it's complex, more that I'm lazy) but what we have created is an overview of the line and it's post mego life.

Included are every Mego Catalogue, rare Lords of Light promotional materials and a lot more:

Doctor Who's best friend k-9 now up!

I know it's superhero month and all.....

I'm not sure if Doctor Who is considered a Superhero but he has a dog that fires lasers out his nose, so he's not all bad, plus he probably smells like ginger beer. The Doctor Who section now has a K9 page. http://www.megomuseum.com/tv/k9.shtml

K-9 is a tough piece to find, usually his ears are broken.

SuperHero Month Kicks Off!

December is Superhero month (some may argue it's always Superhero month), anyway we kick it off with a very rare look at a boxed Super Softie Spidey. This recently went for $850 on the ebay, so you know it's rare. We were lucky enough to have the owner contact us. http://www.megomuseum.com/pocket/sofspi.shtml

Remember the official Mego Forum is open 24 hours a day, should you want to search for that childhood memory:
